Blueberry came into our rescue program on November 13, 2023. Blueberry came into our rescue program as an Owner Surrender along with 1 other horse, as they were abandoned on the property when sold. The new property owner wanted to make sure the horses found appropriate homes. Blueberry is a Beautiful, Gray, Arabian X, Mare. Blueberry is estimated to be 9 years of age upon arrival into our program. Blueberry does not appear to be halter broke or broke to lead. We have worked with her some and she will accept a Halter but needs work on being led. Blueberry is a big, beautiful girl and with the right amount of time and patience will make someone an excellent horse. She is curious and wants attention but tends to be on the aloof side. We will be evaluating Blueberry for adoption soon. Please consider making a donation towards Blueberry's Rehabilition.

We are thrilled to have partnered with Black Beauty Ranch in Murchison, Texas where they accepted some of our sanctuary horses. This is an amazing opportunity for these horses to live on 100's of acres of land and be the wild and free horses they desired to be. We occasionally get horses in that aren't adoptable due to behavioral issues. We never want to place an adopter in harms way and most of these horses will remain in our care until they pass away, but this provided us an amazing opportunity to place these horses in a sanctuary and free up space for other horses in need.
