Nutmeg came into our rescue program on February 19, 2017. Nutmeg came into our rescue program as an Owner Surrender due to a death in the family. Nutmeg is a Beautiful, Sorrel/White, Mule, Mare. Nutmeg is estimated to be 6 years of age. Nutmeg is super sweet girl and loves attention. Nutmeg was born with a deformity and has no coffin bone in her hind foot. Due to her size and since it was a birth defect, it does not bother her or slow her down. Her hoof is deformed and will require maintenance trimming but is not correctable. Nutmeg is halter broke and broke to lead. She can a bit feisty when having her feet trimmed but with consistency and patience she will continue to improve. Nutmeg loads in a trailer. Nutmeg will make someone an excellent family pet or companion. She gets along great with other horses. She loves fellow long ears but does great with horses also. Nutmeg has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance.
